its like they stretched the B8 A4 lengthwise and widthwise to get the new A8, then squashed it to get this... very weird family resemblance

The design doesn't really feel fresh to me. Look like they're trying to extend the life of their current design scheme too far.

I agree that unlike BMW which has made more of an effort to change the appearance of their models Audi have been less proactive. May be you need to ask yourself why this is.

After all Audi's sales have been climbing steadily for long enough so why mess with what appears to be a winning formula?

I don't like these cars (Mercedes CLS, BMW GT, Audi A7) they are for a very niche market. In all 3 cars the fronts are nice but rears are so weird you are just confused as to what designers had in mind.
