Ugh, still waiting apparently. I ‘should’ be the second to get an allocation, (first already given during the initial round)….That said, and as anxious as I am, the delay gets me closer to an additional quarterly bonus at work, as well as meeting the rebate rqmts for BMW CCA, so, /shrug 🤷‍♂️

Does that mean you should get an email from BMW before allocation is given, my order was in on Feb 13th and still nothing

For all I know the prod number did come to coincide with the email, but my CA was slow to respond when asking for it. In any case, the email was new to me, and I received prod number 4 days later but that was 2 days after I asked "did they give a prod number?" He said their system indicated April production so this is what it shows in my garage.

I waited since the 5th to get an allocation from my closest dealership. Yesterday afternoon I called a dealer an hour away and got a production number this morning. Should have called around sooner. :|

Got a VIN yet?
For those who have received a VIN already, is the new online owner's manual available yet?
...or is it just the same-ole owner's manual from the previous year's model? |

I'm sure it's updated to include some info on the manual trans, but otherwise everything else would be the same.

Actually I forgot the Z4 can be had with a manual on the 20i version in other markets. So maybe there is no real change to the manual for the manual

I believe the date on the document shows a roman numeral "II" with year 24... so that'd be Feb 2024 ?? Last edited by graye; 03-01-2024 at 01:16 PM.. |

I’m hoping you all can help me out because my SA is new to BMW and I’m not overly confident in what he tells me. I placed my deposit a couple weeks ago and today he called and said the order is in. I asked him to let me know when he has the production number but he pivoted toward me getting the VIN so that I can track the process in the BMW garage. I’m also new to buying a Bimmer so I’m not confident in my knowledge either. So do I just wait for the VIN or bother him for something else? Thanks!! 🙏🏼

Now that I have my build number and looking in detail at My BMW Garage, it has a Carbon Fiber Rear Spoiler listed. I haven’t seen that on the photos or the configurator but will certainly take it! Anyone have additional info?

Is that for the new Z4? I never saw that as an option! Any pix of one on a car?
