I have heard that's one of the required criteria (holding a set of clubs) for some vehicles (and why they have the rearward section of trunk space as wide as possible) though certainly not a folding wheeled cart. I'm glad to hear it fits.

Has anyone been able to put two golf bags without a golf cart into the trunk?

Supposedly getting 4 sets into the 7er was part of the rationale for the "Bangle Butt".

My E60 525i had a placard on the trunk roof that showed how to load 4 sets of clubs. I know you could get 1 set in the Z3 and the E85 Z4 if you took the driver out of the bag and loaded it diagonally across the top.

On the journey back from a music festival yesterday I had in my trunk a Vango Icarus 500 XL tent, large air-bed, sleeping bag, two pillows, three changes of clothes, two fancy dress outfits, waterproof jacket, boots, hats, lights and various other small items. The other car we had with us took the rest of our stuff, mainly things that can't fit through the G29 boot opening.

Love seeing this and those look like some bad ass Boba Fett boots there. Great seeing the trunks of these cars absolutely packed! Don't think you can do that in very many 2-seater roadsters.

My old Karrimor 4 season walking boots. They always do the job during the inevitable day of wet weather we get at UK outdoor festivals ! The tent in there supposedly sleeps 5 people too. While I was loading up everyone was shocked it even fit that never mind everything else too.

I don't think it's possible to put two bags in the trunk. Whenever I take another person and their golf bag with me I use a removable trunk rack.

Please post details of the rack in the sticky Accessories thread:

We are doing a PCD for our new Z4 M40i in a couple of weeks, and are deciding what luggage to take. I _think_ from those dimensions, a pair of 22x14x9 soft-sided TUMI roll-a-boards (2 wheel) should fit, assuming no problem like too steep of an angle over the trunk sill.

Has anyone actually fit a pair of smaller roll-a-boards?

It's no problem. When we did PCD we had 2 Samsonite soft-side rollaboards. They fit with room to spare--a few inches on the sides and by the latch. And a couple inches on top to slide in something flat. There was room to stuff a couple small purse-size soft bags.

I also stopped at Walmart and picked up a 11" x 7.5" x 5.5" cardboard box. If you leave it collapsed (flat) and just tape the edges it will hold the Monroney sticker and keep it from getting mangled.
