Now I'm wondering how TM would look on the new M2....

Also, current black wheels look much better with TM on the Z4. Apparently, I really dislike that accent stripe on the lip of the new wheels.

It works better with the black as it adds a little contrast.

But generally, any sort of wheel striping brings back bad childhood memories of 70s vintage post-smog, overstyled, faux-muscle cars.

Something like these M bi-color wheels where the bare metal isn't restricted to the circumference/lip of the wheels would would have been welcome.

I have the Opel White Extended Merano Leather interior on my F32 440i interior and I have zero issues with stains, the leather wipes up easily and it still appears brand new after 4 years. I was told jeans die can discolor, but again, I have not had any issues. this is my first white interior, and I would not hesitate to get white again. It is stunning when the door opens!

I am considering a Z4 M40 or a M4 Convertible as replacement. I love the look of the Z4 and the way it handles yet the back seat on my 440i gets used on occasion. Either way I would likely get white interior again.

As I mentioned in my earlier post I had the shop that did the PPF and ceramic work apply Xpel's "Fusion Plus Upholstery" to my ivory leather seats and they are spotless after a year. Occasionally I also have worn blue jeans in the car without any issue.

Take a look at the generous trunk in the Z4 before making your decision. I was very pleasantly surprise by its size.

I had to chuckle at this:

Dad: “get in the trunk, lad!”
Child: “but it’s so small!”
Dad: “just get in, we are going for a ride”
Child: “okay….”

Child: “oh, quite roomy! Got my iPad, so we are good to go!”

I totally agree and don't forget this picture posted by Kwajtrader some time ago of what he was able to fit inside his trunk. In his post he stated that in addition to what you see in the picture he also was able to put a few micro folding chairs and hiking poles inside of it.

Also Geradeaus posted a picture of his golf clubs in his trunk.

I'd be tempted nearer future if it was smaller. Still a final ICE possibility. Think Z4 look is sexier - especially in those pics.

I am a convertible person and would love to see BMW produce the M240i in a rag top model as I don't really need the power of the beast engine in the M2.

G42 is almost the same size as G22. G23 M440i for you.

You'd probably want to install the LED light upgrade just in case.

I'm not even sure they're photos but rather drawings.

I would second this, though I’ve only had mine 1+ years. In my opinion, it’s a non-issue (though I too was a little hesitant for the same reason when ordering).

Also, the problem with black interior on a G29 is you lose the contrast on the inner doors. If only the seats were black, I’d say it’s no better or worse than any other color. But you have the seats, center console over the cup holders, and the doors. It’s just my opinion that the contrast is what makes the interior so beautiful, and you don’t get that with black.

Also, the fact that it’s a convertible means your headrests will always be visible, which makes your choice of seat color very important compared to typical cars. A bad color combination will be very visible. I’m 100% happy I chose white.
