If decide to change mine, this is definitely what I would replace them with. I'm not sure the braces can be that functional taking into account the fairly feeble securing bolts that are used. The extra bracing on the Toyota ones may add something, but I'm not sure.

The cross bar up by the radiator isn't doing shit, I don't know why people keep putting that there for this platform.

I tend to agree with you though I do believe the brace between strut towers is helpful.

Yes, absolutely. But it has to be up there in order for the geometry to make sense. A strut tower brace is a tension/compression device between the shock towers. Putting forward of that just makes it ineffective.
