Gunman kills Judge's son in NJ

Pretty sad.

A massive manhunt is underway for the gunman who fatally shot the 20-year-old son of a New Jersey federal judge and wounded her husband Sunday at the couple’s home.

The suspect, a description of whom has not been released, is believed to have been dressed as a FedEx delivery driver as he arrived at the home of U.S. District Judge Esther Salas on Point of Woods Drive in North Brunswick around 5 p.m., law enforcement sources and officials told NJ Advance Media.

So is the below a stretch? Coincidence?

On July 15, four days before the shooting, Salas was assigned to the ongoing lawsuit brought by Deutsche Bank investors who claim the company made false and misleading statements about its anti-money laundering policies. The suit also alleged the bank failed to properly monitor "high-risk" customers, including convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

This is the second shooting by a gunman disguised as a delivery guy this month. The other was in Boston. I can't see any possible connection between the two, though.

They seem to think an attorney found with a self inflicted gunshot wound in NY was the shooter.

Yep. And he was found dead in his car with a Fed Ex package addressed to the judge. Another interesting point, this lawyer has a website where he described himself as an anti-feminist men's rights lawyer.

I read about this yesterday, and I seem to remember it being worded differently. It didn't sound right at the time to me, either. (I dont think the wording in this article is wrong at all)

Same with me. I read a different article that had me thinking something else. This one clarified things, but I didn't read it close enough. Not the first time today I've misread something, though. Might be time for new glasses.

Just heard he was some whacko filing all kinds of Frivolous lawsuits about how 1/2 price drinks for women at happy hour are unfair etc etc etc.

Yep. One could draw all sorts of conclusions based on publicly known things about the suspect.
