Looks sweet. So you can actually drive on the track?

BMW pulled a bait & switch at a SoCal event. They said there was an autocross and it ended up being a line to sit shotgun with a professional driver. I just ended up doing the street test drives. M2C had he hooked.

I got to drive each of the non M cars around the track following the instructor. We then got put in hold due to rain for 30 mins. The track was ponding and not draining fast enough so we only got to take the M cars (off track) through an acceleration drill and then a 3 cone slalom.

The instructor was pretty upset about the rain and apologized several times. HE really wanted to get the M cars on the track!

The instructor was really cool and keep encouraging everyone to drive faster and have confidence in the traction control.

It was LEGIT FUN.

How long is this going through? Of course I'm headed out of town today, but the Speedway is literally 20 min from my in-laws!

The instructor stated for 2020 they are trying to move the event to friday’s.

Currently it is EVERY wednesday for all 2019.

Cant beat the price

Im still upset they got rid of the M track days event at Homestead for $250. I looked forward to that every year. Hoping this can fill the void.

While I hate PBIR can't pass up a free event. That being said seems all the dates are waitlist.

Weekly event for a couple of years already I think. We had 4 or 5 M cars available to drive (8-10 different models total). Fast track. Handling track. Professional instruction by radio (Adam Ricardel). Event lasted close to 4 hours the night I went. Free head sock. Free meal. Free Swell bottle. $1000 incentive toward lease or purchase from BMW. FUN!!!!
