If my life depended on picking a winner, Hamilton no question. He’s done it all, and he just keeps producing. It’s bonkers, most champions are a flash or let up after a few years (in every sport). It’s rare air to dominate and keep dominating as long as Hamilton has. In fact, it’s almost unprecedented at this point. It’s now shocking when he DOESN’T win. You could never bet against this guy.

He’d even have two more WDCs if not for that bizarre pit mistake in China and the Rosberg fluke year right?

Senna because of raw speed, rain skills and qualifying masterclasses. But not for the extreme risks Ayrton often took.

3rd in the WDC is well out of position. With his car he should be around 5-7 IMO.
My initial sentiment about him being the best was a joke, but I do think he has a ton of talent and I am excited to see what he can do in the next few years.

Some of my reasons:
-It has been 4 years since HAM didn't lead the championship until this point in the season.
-This years monaco race, the podium was made up of drivers that haven't been on the podium ever in Monaco. The last time that happened... no idea, if it ever happened...
-The race had a dodgy start with Leclerc's gamble didn't pay off.
-There was a freaky failure on bottas wheel.
-VER made a nice drift just before his finish
-RB now leads the constructors championship

Lots of reasons to talk about imho. I don't call this 'uneventful'
Everyone can have their own personal reasons. These were just some of mine.

If all the other users in this thread chip in with the same details, we can maybe make a list for AmuroRay regarding the 'How' and why....
But is it worth the efford for someone that apparently lacks the empathy skills to extract the reasons out of all those posts already in this thread?

I can understand the gloating, but the season is not over. And if Max does win in the end, it still will not take away anything from Hamilton. All kings get dethroned sooner or later.
