North Devon - UK

Hi Guys n Gals,

I’m off to North Devon from Surrey/Hants area on Friday with the wife and her family for a week and have decided to take the Zed down as well rather than all 5 of us cram into her F45 and thought I’d ask for some recommendations on must visits in the car - will be the first proper trip since getting her in June (with exception to a couple of runs down to the south coast).

We’re off to Braunton between Barnstaple and Croyde, so expect some nice surrounds generally and will no doubt take a trip into Dartmoor at some point as were popping to Badgers Holt but;

Where else is in the must do list?

We did exactly the same thing 2 weeks ago in the first outing in the Zed since we bought it about 4 weeks back.We live in Somerset.
Northam Beach is a must,a wide open beach with a good walk area,that takes in Westward Ho! as well.
We also went to Widemouth Bay near Bude with the "surfing set" if thats your bag.
A great eatery in Bude itseld called "The Olive Tree" but you need to be able to order with your phone,(just as well the other half is up to speed with all of that)
If you want a bit of isolation we went out to Crows point near Braunton.Its a £2 toll road out to a beach area were you look back over Appledore etc.
She made me walk both ways at Clovelly,and I still havent forgiven her for that..We did have some great weather as well..

Hope that helps

Sam
