Surprised I didnt see this thread earlier.

I was feeling festive yesterday so I wore my Jordan 11 "Win like 96".

My most recent pick up was these Ultraboost 1.0 in Wool Gray from GOAT.

A couple of my favorites from the collection. I like to stick to OG colorways for the most part. But can appreciate all kicks!

that's really what i love about them...they're clearly jordan 1s but subdued enough for an old guy to wear without being too self-conscious. i've scored other coveted drops but when they show up and i put them on i feel kinda ridiculous.

Although most of the shoes in this thread are downright awful, I do want to inquire what products everyone uses to clean sport shoes? My kids use them for their intended purpose, but I loathe dirty shoes.

I clean them gently with laundry detergent with a series of brushes, for laces I put them in a bowl of warm water and detergent and massage them if that makes sense

If its a $60 shoe or a shoe like the alphabounce I take the insoles out, throw the shoes in a pillow case and tie it off, then toss them in the laundry. Still do the laces separately tho

Warm water, soap and a sponge. When removing till the next season I wash the laces separately under a water tap using soap as well.

Some fifteen/twenty years ago when I shopped offline shop girls got me buy manufacturers' (Reebok) cleaning products (liquids) one for cleaning and one for protection but I hardly use them since.

There used to be cleaning instructions on the back side of the box lid for each upper material specifically, but not these days anymore. I like mine leather for cleaning simplicity as well.

Appreciate it! I have a hard time getting the actual “body” of the shoes clean. I probably need to invest in some good brushes.
