Has anyone removed the glove box to run wiring to the engine compartment? From what I can tell there is a rubber plug right behind it that I can leverage. It looks like it's just a few screws on either side of the glove box and out it comes, but there is also an airbag right below it, so I want to approach this cautiously.

Any help would be appreciated.

I do not but the attachment might help familiarize you with some of the other stuff down there.

By the way, how often does that microfilter in the attachment need to be changed?

at every other engine oil service, approximately 20K miles.
