I'm aware of the changes with the 2023 LCI, but wondering if there is potential for additional colors before the end of production? My 20 Z4 is my first BMW so I'm not sure if new colors are introduced more frequently than an LCI?

Unlikely I’d say at this stage.

I think one final special edition model in the whole series run out (frozen Portimao) or such might happen but no general new colour…sadly.

On some other models BMW has changed the color options between "normal" model years (not LCI refresh years). So we might see some new color options available for 2024 or 2025 model year Z4 builds. It probably depends on the take rates of the current color options, BMW will probably replace colors which aren't selling well.

If they offered Frozen Orange in the US which was the launch color elsewhere I would definitely consider trading in my Misano Blue baby.

Not that it’ll make a difference, but a few months ago I emailed their customer service to request IOMG. I got a generic email back but I wanted to get my vote in just in case others were asking them for the same thing.

I can live with and enjoy thundernight, but would rush to the dealership for that shade of green. I will wait for MY25 if it’s not offered in MY24. Maybe a new color with the manual launch?

Not considered 🇮🇲 green. Maybe I’d change out for that too and manual if it was potentially the last manual bmw. Rumours are the 6MT will be US market only but let’s see. I do quite like the GT cruising vibe of the B58 and 8AT.
If we’re onto ultimate colours.

BMW will occasionally introduce a new color in a model's last production year, like they did with the F30 3-series (Sunset Orange was available in 2018). So, who knows.

Definitely a possibility, however the limitation is the fact that the Z4 is produced by Magna Steyr, not at a BMW factory. That’s the reason why you can’t get individual colours. Thus it depends more on the production capacity at Magna than at BMW.
