Sorry, I was going OT for a sec, randomly complaining about some Mopar interiors. Nothing to do with the Durango, which is “acceptable” from an interior design standpoint imho

Looks like build slots are open/available now! A few of these FCA dealers have no clue about what is going...makes me wonder how servicing these beast will be at the stealership under warranty. Hellcat owners have been complaining since 2015 about the pure shit show at these service bays. Makes me scared to leave a car that powerful and expensive at one of their service centers. This for me is where the german/luxury branda shine. Shit even my experience at various toyota service centers has been great regarding customer service and mechanical knowledge.

Ill post pictures once I get my hands on one

Had to deselect the post you replied to since I came to the second page to say that the interior is acceptable at best. Clearly they didn't put any effort into making it look nice but...it's not offensively ugly? So it's got that going for it I guess. People only buy these cars for HPTQ anyways

I drove my buddy's Grand Cherokee SRT last year. The acceleration is definitely addicting and handling is competent. Overall not as crappy a car as I expected.

But man this is ridiculous. All of Dodge's products are 10+ years old, unacceptable. Imagine the Challenger on a modern lighter platform, now that would be a fast car.

The current dodge challenger center dash area is almost the worst i've ever seen. It's like one designer said "Hey, lets make this using shapes" and his boss was like "nah. We are outta shapes. Use blobs instead and figure it out."

You waited 7 months to make your first post that is a copy-paste of a comment on the first page?

Had an extended test drive and much like Trackhawk the the brutal ride quality kills it for me as a daily. Really a shame as they were both a lot of fun. Why manufacturers think buyers of SUV’s want all out handling at the expense of usability is beyond me.

The most significant is what I can only best describe at the moment as throttle hang, and it's very noticeable at low speed. It's not a stuck pedal or misapplication; the engine speed will occasionally remain in the 2000-2500rpm range after removing all accelerator pedal input. It will happily remain there until brake pressure is applied or collision with an obstacle occurs to halt the moderately increasing forward vehicle speed. This one does not have any options beyond the leather interior upgrade so no ADAS at play here.

Next there's a very strange vibration accompanied by intermittent deceleration sensations, similar to stability control intervention, that occurs above 20mph while driving constant under light throttle load. I'm starting to suspect it's somehow related to the exhaust control. Speaking of exhaust, it's misaligned quite badly from the midsection back. Car had 8mi on the odometer when I picked it up and I see no evidence of any damage. Just shoddy QC.

Supercharger whine is actually annoying due to it's almost constant presence.

Kinda surprised the 3rd row seats don't lock down and are free to bounce around.

There's other, more, personal niggles if you're truly interested in hearing them.
