I'm confused about this. Are you now saying LCI in November will be cancelled? I don't understand why they would delay LCI considering the EOP is 2025.

Argh - considering an order, ordinarily would wait for LCI but I despise trapezoidal exhaust so if they are adding that to the Z4 I don't want to wait. Why in the world is it so hard to find information. Dealer is worthless.

Literally our dealer does not even have any leather swatches, paint color samples, or interior samples (aluminum, etc.) to even show as examples. What is the point? Might as well just change BMW into a vending machine. You pick your options online and they deliver to your door. They literally are only good for maintenance at this point (and I would argue any local shop could learn the tricks of the trade and fill that void just as easily). |

Sounds like he has a good connect. Some of the updating is necessary to comply with new safety regulations in other markets (including Japan). I have no clue about the US. LCI plan change due to global circumstances seems like a real possibility.

Hope it turns out well. Round, square, trapezoidal exhaust does not matter to me. Will most likely reup with a 2023 as my lease runs out in March. Only thing that might lose me is it they go to the new dashboard. Would have to see it in person.
Would also like to see if I could get a individual color (red selection) on the car. If not looking good will buyout the one I have now.

Somewhat off topic, and I don't want to hijack the thread, but was talking to my sales person today to check on my Z4M40i order (July production supposedly). He said they were in a meeting today and it was announced BMW cancelled all Z4 30i production. No reason why or for how long. He confirmed they will continue the Z4M40i production. Haven't seen this anywhere else yet, but don't know why he would make it up. He seems to be pretty transparent.

Some are expecting the emergence of the G29LCI, but remember the 8 series and the M8.
Those LCIs do not have any notable updates. Just a shiny grille and a larger CID. |

As for 30i, there's quite a few on dealer lots in Canada so I don't think it's selling that well. The M40i is almost impossible to find. Rob |

This autobahn sighting was posted in a German forum. Discussion as to whether this is the 8 series or the Z4 facelift ensued.

I never realized how similar the 8 and the Z looked lol.
It looks like 8-series mirrors and rear window, so my money is there too, but it would be nice if it was a Z...
