He said he saw a work order in place for it, but that was all the additional detail he could see. I hope it doesn't sit until there's a fix for this.

I've read some info about this on this site but still not sure I understand it. Does this impact every car or is it dependent on your mix of options? I've seen some posts that seem to indicate it is related to the wireless charging feature, but then others dispute that.

I believe it’s every car. The digital key is a standard feature, separate from the wireless charger.

It depends on manufacture date. During a period in 2022, perhaps also 2021, the digital key was only available with the wireless charging option (supply chain issues), thus the confusion.

Always liked a car with a little stance while still looking OEM+

Car must be made by now and en route to Berry BMW Croydon. My guess is 2nd week in April!

I’ve never in my life modded a car - are lowering springs and spacers something that any garage can do? How much money is involved? Would love to see what it looks like when done as I do like cars that sit lower.

You only check once a day? When I was waiting for my car to be to built/shipped/arrive I was checking like 20 times a day.

Just called the Genius number. They told me I’m in status 195 (so shipped), but they don’t have the vessel name yet. Told me to call back in a day or two, so I’ll keep you posted.

Just picked up one from Berry, it was BMW UK stock, took a week from order to pick up, healthy discount too

So my status flipped back to "at port" a little while ago. I called the genius and they said the car is now at the German port awaiting a vessel, so not sure what is going on and why the flip from "in transit" yesterday.
