Aside from avoiding curb rash on the Z4’s low front bumper there is the issue of people in public parking lots like supermarkets and malls that intentionally walk behind your car hoping to get hit when you are backing out and then filing a lawsuit. IIRC, a few years ago a group of people were busted in south Florida for doing this.

I’m going to miss the two front cameras on my C7. They are very helpful. It would be REALLY nice to have on Z4.

Trip to Big Sur from Monterey with some friend car guys. Beautiful day. Went 55 miles and then the road is closed. Some tight twisties along with some long undulating straights. What a wonderful car!

Great picture and looks a lovely day.
That is one of the few roads I have ever driven on in the US. Mind you, it was about 40 years ago that I did it. 😂

PCH from Monterey to Morrow Bay - when it's not closed due to rock slides or other road closures - is amazingly scenic.

A perfect convertible road for sure, though I've never driven it in one. Done it in a regular car a few times, and on a motorcycle twice. It's been over 10 years since my last trip on that road.
