i have a coating on mine, i'm happy with it, after more than a year i still had pearls when it rained (car is not parked outside 24/7) :-)
Now after 2years the pearls are gone but the coating should still be good for at least another year. I Will get it done again once it's needed

I guess it depends on usage but my 2020 top still has "pearls" when it gets wet......then again, the car lives inside a climate controlled garage, seldom gets wet and has about 7,000 miles on it.

During the last 9-10 years I’ve had 5 different soft top cars. Every one has been treated with 303 cleaner and protectant. Very pleased with the results, and won’t use anything else.

Same here. I've owned soft tops for many years and most have been more than few years old when I bought them. 303 has worked just fine. My tops go up and down a lot! Always parked with the top up and almost always driven with the top down.
