Thanks. It's my understanding I have the slot with an assigned production number plus my CA told me a while back upon signing the order "you're all set". I'll be the first to look up my ship when the time comes too!

I'm doing PCD on mine. Have they given you a date yet. They told my CA that until they had an ETA (I'm assuming the car would have to be on a boat) they could not assign a date.

Also, I've been wondering whether they'll have a Z4 for the track portion. I know they're supposed to provide a car similar to the one ordered but the Z4 is so rare right now I'm not sure what will be available. Any insight?

Once your car is manifest on a ship, BMW genius and you dealer will have the ship name. Then you can track the right one.

How exciting! I checked out PCD delivery and it's the way to go if your personal logistics fit, mine don't being that my wife is disabled so I'll take a local delivery. Throwing in a one night stay and meal at no cost is pretty cool. https://bmwperformancecenter.com/deliveryfaq

I do have a date: March 2nd.

I've done a few PCDs and never seen a Z4 on the track portion before. I'm ok with that though, I want to get my hands on the newer versions of the 3 and 5 if possible since my current DD is an F80.

Exactly!

The most fun I've had is with the 2 cars where I've been able to do both Euro delivery and PCD. The only problem with that is the waiting after you drop off at the port in Europe.

Understand about logistics though, you have to do what you can do. I would recommend at least one trip to the performance center though. Maybe an M School?!?
