MAX was just over-motivated today . MAX was 5 sec. faster a lap and faster during the practice sessions .
5 sec. each lap faster ! Again and again ..The rest was nowhere !

That's what we saw today , by his self-confidence he lost his patience .
And by his lack of patience , he lost the race today !

I agree , it was a bad RB race for sure !

In the end, HAM drove fast enough and hard enough not to spin out, and still win the race. And easy enough to save a pit stop. And in the end that’s as fast as anyone can hope to be.

BOT, MAX, LEC, ALB did not. HAM dominated today.

Beautiful drive and remarkable instincts from Lewis. He sensed before anyone else that the interslicks were the tires to be on.

I don't remember the lap when he asked "how long will these tires go?" (paraphrasing), but at that moment I figured he was going to win.

HAM's era hasn't always been the most entertaining imo, but no mistaking his greatness. Still remember pundits questioning his motives and move to Merc. Whoops...

I think what's being missed with Max critique -- how he drives now surely isn't how he'd drive with a 100 pt lead in the championship.

Not to take anything away from Lewis's brilliance today, but when you only need to finish in front of your mediocre spinning teammate to equal Michael, it's an easy call to be conservative. He wasn't even challenging Seb early on in the race when he surely could have. Lewis combined a low risk race strategy with a typically perfect read of the tire situation, logged some fast laps as needed, and coasted to a win.

So, did Max's "full send" mentality cost him today? Sure, a few positions. Did he still finish in front of his teammate? Yep. And the same all or nothing mentality put him P2 yesterday in quali, has won him races, and created some racing at the front where otherwise there would have been none. I have no issue with his assassin mentality, hope he never loses it.

Shout out to Stroll. Probably wouldn't have held off HAM and PER, but maybe a podium had they put him on the interslick strategy as well. Excellent driving in the initial phases of the race where nerves and conditions could have got the best of him.

Perez or Hulk to Red Bull a must. Insanity that Perez wouldn't have a seat next year. A true signal that the F1 driver situation is broken, if it happens.

It's never going to happen but if you paired Leclerc with a Mercedes...

I think everyone agrees that Leclerc has taken everything possible with the Ferrari this season and has done more than anyone has expected, imagine if he was driving the Mercedes. I like Bottas but I don't think he's maximizing his seat.

As others mentioned, u dont win points by being fastest in practice and quali lol. Got owned by over 40secs, multiple 360 spins, you wanted rain? Here you go, enjoy, plz do the rain dance for bahrain too so we can have as much fun as you guys.

Congrats to perez, lec, and vet who showed better composure than rbs

Wolff was determined for HAM to get that 7th today to hurry the contract talks so didn't want any problems and challenges from BOT. So, easy peasy to screw poor BOT..look my friend SIX times off! not even grandma is that bad surely.

It was certainly a missed opportunity for Verstappen...the car had the speed to win the race...especially when the track was at its most slippy

Strange that one set of tyres can be good, for instance when Stroll started the race his pace was excellent then when changing he went backwards with a 'bad' set even when after heating them up pace dropped with the front right flaking after a short time.
