I just wish there were some fun, bright colors. Even the older Misano blue color.

Oh god this is gonna be hard. What to let go for this. Is trading in a 2021 M2C for this a stupid idea?

Other 40i products are byproducts: I just had a 440i grand coupe loaner while my 14' F10 M-Sport 6MT was in service and it was beyond horrible: plastic seats and steering wheel as thin as a noodle.

IIRC, the reviews published about the Z4’s MT stated it was different and superior to the MT they had tested in the Supra.

Yep....ID7. Sucks its not 9.... I have 1st allocation at a dealer already. I just got my M2 11/30/23. I would hate to trade it in 6 months later. I might wait till the 26s come out then I will go for it. Last model year with a manual...This is the way to go for value down the line. Hell it might appreciate lol. 2 things I like about the ID7:
Canopy over the drivers screen. Screen mirroring (found a better way around that on ID8)

I’m happy for the Z4 as a BMW product, can’t tell you have many posts on social media/youtube poke at the Z4 for lacking a manual…..despite it’s wonderful automatic….to some it always lacked that sports car street cred. Not anymore. |

"The outer shift mechanism comprising the shift lever, its guide, and the connection to the transmission, has been specially engineered for use in the BMW Z4 M40i and delivers the mechanical feel for which BMW manuals have been praised."
GTFOH!!!!! LOL Thats funny. All their manuals are sloppy. No mechanical feel at all. Feels like they put too much into the dampers and bushings on the manuals. The first mod I bought for my M2 was the Rogue short throw (which still isnt installed).
