Hey maybe the the old guy is one stingy rich old dude who molested kids when he was young. You don't know. There are too many unknowns.

My grandmother passed away this past week. After going through everything, we come to find out that insurance companies have been preying in her. She’s been paying about $3k/yr in homeowner’s insurance for a house that’s maybe worth $175k. In her area, it should have cost about $700/yr max.

In addition, she has been paying $160/mo for a few years now for a whopping $4k life insurance policy. She paid the full value in about two years and just kept paying because she thought that’s what she needed to do.

Pretty infuriating what people will do...

That sucks. I took over my parents finances a few years ago and pay all their bills.

I'm sorry for your loss.

On a pile of cash!

Yea, that is crazy how people have no morality around screwing over their fellow man. Elderly victims just makes it that much more despicable.

I hunt screwy online scammers at work for fun, and have amassed a database containing tens of thousands of different scam template fingerprints over the years. If I didn't have a conscience, I'd be the king of Nigeria by now and cruising around Lagos in a Bugatti Chiron.....
