Ambient lighting not dimming?
If you set your ambient lighting to dim during night, do all the light strips dim or just the dash? On my 2022 Z4, only the ambient light strips on the dash will dim and not the doors (they stay bright). I thought this seemed rather strange and thought my old Z4 dimmed all the light strips. I could be wrong though?

Without having to go downstairs to look at my car I can swear that the door's lights dim also. I will check it out the next time I go for a ride in the evening.

OK, I just went to the car and here are the results with the dim box checked and unchecked. The ambient lights on both doors do not dim, however the ambient light on the driver's side AC vent and the ambient light on the center display both dim.

I usually select the orange color and just lower the "Brightness" setting to about 60% because if I leave it at 100% there is a visible glare in my side mirrors. By doing this there is no need to check the box for dimming the ambient lights.
