The only bad about those plans is having someone build it correctly. I still can't believe the price you have to pay and get so little. DR Horton, INEST and Centex build homes and maybe in that area. Checkem out.

South Carolina and North Carolina are night and day. Unless you work in Charlotte, NC and live right on the border in SC it won't work. Or unless you work from home. But I wouldn't want to live in SC. When I drove through it was a bunch of farms and really poor looking and the roads were horrible.

house 1 and house 3 are the best looking on the outside, but living in an urban I've found that the interior style and floor plan is much more important than exterior looks, e.g. in Chicago (proper)there are many condos,homes etc that are nothing special on the outside but are spectacular inside. Outside of the city, definately there is more of a blance of exterior beauty as well as interior functionality. I still believe in going with the layout that works the best for you, location of rooms, sizes etc

Did you take a look at the virtual tour? The renderings do not do it justice. The houses look much better than the drawings. They also offer an interest rate of 4 5/8% for a fixed 30 year mortgage with 2/1 buydown or 6.75%.
