So I've been creeping on this site for a few months now....Pulled the trigger a couple weeks ago and got a production #. Now today, that's right, I'm in production. I cannot tell you how excited I am, I was told to expect a couple months but it looks like Christmas is coming early!!

This morning woke up to the car being in Quality Check, now in Awaiting Carrier Assignment.

Same here, my M40i build is awaiting carrier assignment; some nice M40is on the way to USA.

Just hit "Dispatched from Factory" yesterday - sat in Awaiting Carrier Assignment for about 6 days.

I think it might be true that now that production is back up and running, things might have slowed down a bit. I was at one point about 1 day behind Horseman's build, for example. Now a good bit further back.

Either way happy to see progress!

You might be more than just a day behind me, but I think we'll be on the same ship. I'm still at the port and likely to be there until next week. I BELIEVE i'll be on the Niagara Highway that is set to depart from Bremerhaven port on the 30th.

OH NO.. just looked at the RORO schedule and it appears that there is some slippage. 2 Sept is when it will arrive and leave 3 Sept with getting to galveston the 18th of Sept.

Ours must have been riding together, mine got to port on 8/28 as well. I test drove an M40i in February that had your coloring, that is what made me go with the ivory seats. I was either doing BSM or a blue but I wanted the Ivory.

As you said, now the waiting game. I don't really want to wait!

Yes - Dealer had allocation and after my modification it went to status 150 in one day - now it’s completing exterior assembly with production completed on 08/31 which is tomorrow! Got really luck to find an allocation like that.
