Anybody experience your usb European maps asking for an activation code? Mine started acting up right as I was getting off the ferry to Bellagio. Luckily, I studied the area well enough to know how to get to my hotel.

Another question related to that. Can I upload my music off my USB stick and then plug the map USB back in without issue?

I keep getting the impression that once the usb is removed, you loose the euro gps maps and ask for a code. Thats what ive been reading unless im wrong. Someone shed some light on this. I would like to also transfer music on my f80 using a usb drive once i pick up my car.

Found the answer on another forum. Worked for me.

Make sure the USB drive with Map is plugged into the car.
Then hold down the volume control knob on your center console for couple seconds for your BMW i-drive system to reset.
I am not talking about the i-drive knob!
It's the tiny volume control knob and press it down for couple seconds until the screen resets itself.
Once the navigation system resets, you should be good to go and continue to use the map.
Hope this works for you because it did for me!

For those who have received their FedEx packets, how long did it take from you receiving your ED pick up date confirmation to when you received the packet?

I signed my PO way before my packet arrived. You shouldn't have to wait.

I emailed BMWEuropeanDelivery@bmwna.com to change my delivery time. Your CA can also get this going for you.

or call the 1-800-932-0831 and they can do it for you

Hahah, is your custom plate really ED E90? On this board ED = Euro Delivery but in the rest of the world, ED = Erectile Dysfunction

Thank you, Gassian and Shizzel720! I'll reach out to BMWNA tomorrow.

As for the PO, agreed as I've been asking for that since the beginning. I currently have a confirmed ED pick up date and production number (status 111). I have a good deal on the car so I'll wait on my CA and work with him under his process.

Once I get the PO signed and ED time changed, I'll add my date and time to the thread. I'm currently slated for 11/12 @10:20 AM.

Yup, that was my actual custom plate in Cali. My name also starts with Ed, so most people I knew just thought it was my name. But point taken, ED does have several meanings.

One thing has nothing to do with the other. This time around I never even got a packet - you just have to sign the PO (purchase order - not production order) 30 days before delivery
