I do walk in the snow barefoot (taking out the trash etc.) and don't even own slippers.

Wife went through menopause but still always complained about being cold.

Considering ex was a cop and he had a gun, yes it was funny. And I was being gracious at 69 F. Now with no one to complain, I'm at 66 heat downstairs and 63 F upstairs at night. And I still kick the covers off and back on all night long.

You sound like me. I'm the guy with the AC on 67 at night. When I am up north, no heat at night and sometimes crack the window in the winter for fresh cold air.

When you pointed out that the young whippersnapper is the same age as your daughter, it could have also been interpreted that you were trying to set them up. I can't believe that my sisters were the only girls in the country who had every new boyfriend subjected to the shotgun warning speech by my father the first time that he met them.....

Haha... yeah, my daughter's been married several years now so I wouldn't be trying to set her up with anybody. Her husband probably wouldn't like that too much.

Besides, I kinda like him. He treats her well and he's not a bad guy. If he didn't treat her well then I might need the shotgun.

Was really just telling the youngster above I have a daughter who is 40 so get off our lawns.

Spent a couple hours working on sprinklers today. Knees hurt and back hurts. Don't usually feel old from doing a little work but today I do.
