Hi All

Thought I would say Hi as a new member

I have just bought my first Z4 here in the UK.We had a 2.8 Z3 a few years ago which was for my wife. She never forgave me for selling it especially as I replaced it with a Merc SLC which she hated.
Anyway that has gone and now have a 2019 2.0 30i which is a beauty.
I bought it last Friday from a BMW garage and drove the 150 miles back grinning all the way.
It has the tech pack, comfort plus and pro packs. It was the electric seats I wanted and the other two packs are a bonus although the tech pack is a bit wasted on me,I love the heads up display.
The main niggle I have is buckling up the seat belt.I sit high up and its a nightmare to get it plugged in.I thought it was just me then my wife (who is slim)also had the same trouble..
Other than that a great car.

I will try to post a picture but that might be challenging.

Thats funny, because both my wife and I had trouble in the beginning with the seat belts.
Now that I think of it, all of my first time passengers also had trouble.

Good observation.

My wife and I had the same problem. The seat belt attachments were too low!! I bought a set of extenders and it is perfect now. And they are safety certified.

Thanks for that.I am thinking along those lines but am concerned about the safety side of things.Manufacturers spend fortunes developing seat belts and it worries me that the weakest link could be the ad on.
That said I will look into those further as it is a pain.

I have just looked for these on Amazon UK and googled but that brand not here in the UK.
Does anyone know a reputable UK based supplier as the E bay ones make me nervous,or are they all made in China?

These items are safety certified. I have no concern at all about the safety of the seat belts being compromised. These are not the same as cloth seat belt extensions. I guess that is a personal choice.

There are numerous brands available that look just like these and yes, they all appear to have been made in China. I don't view that as a weak link either.

Belt extender works

My wife has a similar issue with the belt. We got one of these off eBay and it’s sorted the issue out.
