New Z4 Garage Incoming!

So. First step, getting the floor done as discussed in another thread. This is a flake epoxy. Will take 2-3 days for them to finish depending on weather.

Future: Next, getting shelves, decorations up and I want to paint the far wall in the solo door section with M stripes. Work bench behind with all my tools and detailing supplies.

Yep, I initially did the partial flake as I was concerned about moving a couple of motorcycles on centerstand dollies. But they did a poor job of removing the carpet that was there before so when they came back I had them do full flake.

Now it looks just like yours and you will love it. I'm actually like our garage now, it was a hole before...

Outstanding! digging the look of it so far, but it'll be until Thursday before we can actually park on it. Glad you like it. Gives me hope.

Looks great!

Now, once you get your cars into the garage, you will be required to do lots of work in there.

Looks great and a lot like mine. Don't worry about toughness, mine is tough as nails! I've used my floor jacks, etc on it and not a mark from them, etc. Easy to keep clean. I use a little simple green after wetting it down with water, then a scrub brush on a long handle, then rinse off, squeegee it off and done! My floor is three years old now and still is just like new.

Looks fantastic. You're lucky to have such a big garage. I can't open the Z4's doors more than 1/3 of the way in mine.

Yes this was one of those "requirements" when we were looking for a new house. To have a 3-car garage.

Looks like you are trying out different spots in the garage.

Z4 looks great!

How did you like the cannon?

LOL not so much trying out different spots.. just the bigger area is easier to work in when detailing the car after i'm done washing. Wife's car was on the drive way since we were going to go out anyway. lol it's back in the single side. :P

Alright, the cannon. I like it actually. What I don't like is how much soap you need in there to make it foam. BUUUUUUT I also need to tinker with it since I didn't use a full bottle to wash my car. I wouldn't mind as much, but CG car soaps are expensive for how little you get. Another thing that was ODD was that my PPF wasn't showing hydrophobic properties afterwards either. Not sure what THAT was all about. Soap I got was stuff that was recommended for PPF/Ceramic so... that was weird.

Set up isn't bad, but i have a long nose wand and the connectors I have weren't compatible. Also made it harder to use in general. HOwever, getting the pressure washing gun is $40. Which if I'm already spending $90 on the foam cannon, i wasn't a fan of having to spend more on something else.
