Nice and congrats on the Z.

I also have an RT and from my experience the Z is FAR more fun and exciting than that motorcycle.

I ride with a bunch of guys as well and while I intend to continue riding I do want to reduce my exposure by cutting back on riding in favor of drives in the Z.

In ride communication is important to me, so I bought one of these so I can still communicate with my buddies even without a helmet. First drive with it is coming early may.

Enjoy the car and the fact that there is virtually no chance that you won't return home after each ride....which can't be said about riding.

Thank you SpeedyATL. I still have my original Sena 10S. I plan to use beige earbuds with it so I can communicate with my riding buddies. The earmuff cradle looks nice but it requires a 20S or better to work.

That's quite a garage full of bikes and cars. Which ones do you still have? (Sorry about wandering off topic here.)

Still have all three bikes. I'll continue to ride, just looking to reduce my exposure to the much higher risk associated with riding.

We use the RT for two up touring, the yamaha is the most fun, but the XR is by a long stretch the best all-around bike for my needs.

First was a BSA Lightning in 1965.

Still have the Yamaha & ride once in a while. Expect time is soon coming when wife & daughters will say "All Done". All ready getting grief when I said I wanted to get a new PWC this summer.

Nice custom green tint on the driveway - Pollen time in NC

Oh yeah, very similar spec. I kept the blue calipers and got Shadowline and HK, but otherwise identical.

I don't see which interior trim you have. I got the mesh aluminum.

It's fun to drive! My last sporting vehicle was a BMW R1200RT, my 8th and last motorcycle. I don't get the visceral thrill of riding a fast bike, but the fun is still there. Cornering and curves are great, limited mainly by the person sitting next to me screaming. After break in we'll see about acceleration. It's also good to drive with my espousal unit, as she wouldn't ride with me on the back of my bike for some reason. It is also nice to be able to put up the top and turn on the AC after it gets hot upon returning from a cool morning sojourn.

I thought the "enhanced sound" of the engine would bother me, but it's fine. No need to code the speakers silent.

It's also a very pretty car. I've never had one that I wanted to keep clean so much.

The picture was taken taken at the historic Gillespie Dam Bridge, on Old Highway 80, north of Gila Bend, Arizona. You can see I have some bugs to clean off.
