1. Abe & Louie's dark wood, classic looking and feel (great steakhouse) Backbay
2. Daily Catch North End ( Italian district) small and it gets busy but worth it (black ink pasta & the fried calamari) Italian seafood specialty Try hanging around Harvard Sq, some old book shops, nice restaurants some unique stores with some performers randomly on the streets (summer time) Boston is a clean friendly city, small enough to enjoy in a few days Try to see a game @ Fenway, it's over a hundred years old, updated but still has a classic old vibe I've been to over 200 home games 1995-2005 You don't need a car, use Uber/taxi Backbay, north end and fanual hall all within 15 min give or take Copley Marriott, nice and connected to sky bridges Copley mall (high end shops) near Newbury St boutique high retail think Gucci & Cartier, best value is the Hyatt Boston near downtown crossing, shopping and stores but not as nice Get ready to see a Dunkin' Donuts every 100 yards |
