That's a steal! Really nice build too.
USAA financing gives you another $500 rebate and CCA membership is another $500 rebate. I plan to finance and pay it off in a month. |

If you have USAA you might want to check into the BMW Military Program. My wife is an army brat and qualified through that program for a $2,500 discount on a Z4. We'll see if we can get the dealer to match it for a quick sale. Probably have to use BMW finance but it could be worth it.

My experience with the rebates were it is one or the other. I negotiated a better deal through BMW than through USA. I got the BMWCCA rebate. ON my M235 I used USAA for pricing and BMW declined the BMWCCA rebate.

I'm curious, what persuaded you to opt out for the Dynamic Handling Package versus sticking with Adaptive Suspension? IOW, is the M Sport brakes (with the alleged excellent braking and light touch pedal) and the differential worth it regarding your driving habits?
Am looking at the switch from Adaptive to the whole Dynamic Package myself since I don't have a production slot yet. Would only add a net $1,645 to the cost. Anybody? |

I've had DHP on every BMW I built as Priority 1 orders in the past (F10s, F15, etc) .... since this is the first car I got from the lot, I didn't have the luxury of spec'ing it to my exact liking. This vehicle is missing the DHP for me, and while I notice the difference without it ... the standard m-sport suspension is not terrible, the DHP is just noticeably better. For me it's not a daily driver ... only have 1000 miles on it since August 2020, so I don't drive it often enough for it to bother me. I'm wondering if it is more noticeable on a big vehicle like the 5 series or X5 compared to the Z4 ... that could be for sure!

"The BMW Dynamic Handling Package is an option package for some BMW models that may include adaptive suspension, roll control, or active steering systems. ... Dynamic Drive allows the system to adjust the roll stabilizers to allow for maximum comfort on smooth, straight roads and reduce body roll through corners."
