If you have the piano black plaZtic on the front end and a pillarZ, that might be a bit harder to fix ZwirlZ and chipZ. And rock chipZ and Zand blaZting in the paint driveZ me craZy. I am not sure PPF haZ hype around it, juZt protectZ the paint and can be replaced very eaZily.

Good question - I find flat colors (white) and certain metallics like silvers and greys to be ok, but it's a little soft for black and blue. Not sure about the blue and red on the Z though. My black Mercedes' handled washes and dirt and water spots better than my black BMW's.

Right after I picked up my Z4, I bumped into something on my garage floor. The paint scratched; I hadn't realized how soft and how thin the new paints were. As it is my new toy, I definitely had it PPF'd and then ceramic coated that myself. Looks excellent!
As for the personalized plates, I got: ZED 4ME. |

I am gonna try and get a set of personalized plates... I would like to get one in memoriam of my very recently passed brother. I need to see if I can transfer my current plates to my other car though for that Texas DV discount.

Personalized plates are a cheap bit of fun. Currently rocking M40.

Update: I ended up changing the build to include the HK sound.
It was the one unclear option where "would I select it if it was a no-cost option?" had "yes, for sure" for an answer. So I just decided to bite the bullet there. Also, my status has moved to "Scheduled for production". |

Also, I found a dealer that has a '24 M40i in stock with the combination of Portimao Blue Metallic, Shadowline Package, 798M 18" wheels, blue brakes, and black top. Here's a video:
