Coding - Sidemarkers
Hi,
Looking to see if anyone has the proper coding reference for coding-out the G29 Front Sidemarkers. I had my body shop paint my reflectors, however they still illuminate as running lights and I want to code that function out. Does anyone know the parameter for this? Thanks, Antonio |

let me know if you figure it out ... my G29 has been dormant all winter, and haven't thought about trying to fix this coding to delete the light

I've changed out four other BMW's from the front fender reflectors to IND painted color matched ones. Took 4-5 screws off that held the wheel well liner on around the front side of the fender to get at them and change. My Z4 is my first BMW that has those lit. Guessing you could just get at them via my method and unplug the bulb fitting, take out the bulb and cover the socket with some tape. Guessing it's a small LED bulb and it's located near the top of the marker lense. At least now you have another option to work with if not able to code out.

I'm lazy and don't want to take everything apart and unplug to find it throws an error code for bulb out later after everything is buttoned back up The jack I have, even though low-profile is not low enough to clear the Z4, so i've never removed my own wheels on this car. |
