Should BMW also offer an automatic with the 6MT's chassis enhancements?

After the initial surge of 6MT sales slows down should BMW also offer an automatic with the steering and suspension tuning, a stiffer anti-roll bar setup and a 19"/20" wheel configuration they are offering with the 6MT?

If you were in the market for an automatic transmission would you want and pay for these chassis enhancements?

There's still no info on how much effect (if any) these changes will have.

That option combination with the 8sp ZF would interest me.

Very interesting idea. Head to head choice I’d still take the manual for a fun car like this, but I can see the huge upside to also offering the AT. This being such a low volume car I doubt the AT would really pull in that many incremental sales. Undoubtedly Munich did their marketing due diligence to get to the point of only offering it in the manual.
