Permanent 12V Cable.
Hi.
Has anybody here got a idea where in the fusebox on the left side of the Car I kann find a „hotwire” ? I think in the UK edition of the G29 the fusebox is on the same side under the steeringwheel. I want it for a Dashcam with parking-mode, for that I have to lay a permanent 12Volt cabel. Thank‘s for your help.

Constant live

I’m not too sure about a constant live. F46 is alarm supply but not sure if it is wise to come off this supply. Other options are pin 16 on the OBD socket or taking a supply from the battery charging posts under the bonnet. I would fit an in line fuse if you went with these options though. |

I to love when a car has constant active 12 volt. This is my 3rd Z4. Its easier to just buy a 12 volt outlet at a marine store (they seem to have better quality) Lift up the panel in your trunk and go right to the battery. Just run a black wire into the cabin. Mount it right next to trunk pass thru. Looks clean and out of the way.

1000w and pure wave at 220 v
I prefer using it with engine on, just in case the battery voltage drops too much. It works for a printer when I eventually need it or for a portable freezer, electric tools. Always been careful with watts usage.
