Other than the GT3 and GT3 RS, not a car I'd want more than a GT4 without talking hypercars. In person, it is something to be seen.

I drove one and it was perfect, nothing I could think of doing to it. The exhaust was perfect just the right amount of tone and noise, the suspension was amazing, the rear tires fit the fenders so well, i doubt you can even fit a bigger tire back there.

I wish I had ordered one.

The sad thing is, that not many will be made and the owners who did order them probably won't be driving them much, rather buying them as investments and waiting to cash in. Such a shame, they are such great driving cars...

I have a mix bag of feelings towards this thing. I was hyped up ad nauseam but yet the push through apex is major? That's a huge issue for a track focused car. Poor gearing ratio too. It's one of those things where you are like hmm this is good, I guess I I could be happy with it, but deep down you know you are making a compromise and should have just sprung for the GT3

you do realize there is a $45k price difference (msrp vs. msrp) for the gt4 and gt3 right?

Probably due to the gearing, likely the aftermarket will come up with solutions to change the ratios and it would be a great upgrade. Those are probably the only two compromises they made (Gear ratios and detuned 3.8L) i'd take those any day over not having a GT4 at all.

Car def has a very free flowing rev range but the gearing is long. Even so, 115.2 mph trap is faster than some of the M3 6MT traps I've seen, so its not slow by any means, and the fact that its beating a 458, Zr1 and the likes on track tells a lot about that side of it. Certainly would be even faster with shorter gearing, and even more so PDK, which I think we will see in due time...

I doubt there will be a car that will rank hire than the GT4, other than a GT3 RS for best driver's car in the world.

Not sure how you are making a compromise when other than a GT3 or GT3RS there likely isnt a sharper car available than the GT4. Either way, you're not going to be able to buy a GT4, and likely not be able to get an allocation for a GT3 either. I picked up my new Porsche last week and my salesman has a customer who wanted their sole allocation of a GT3 RS and was willing to pay 100K just for the allocation spot to the guy who had it.

Go see one in person. The car is menacing and flat out gorgeous from any angle. Interior is equally beautiful.

Yes I do. But in the end buyers remorse or questioning yourself sucks and if I'm going to spend 100k+ I want to be damn sure it's *everything* I want. I'm not flipping these things, don't have the income to do so, so it's something I'm holding onto to enjoy for years. Buy once, be happy.

Too many affluent individuals in this world literally ruining it for the commoner. You think dealers would be charging what they do if people who wipe their ass with cash like that didn't exist? But hey guess it's the law of the world these days
