I've seen local year end sales events giving out X1 sDrives for about $239 a month with zero down. Can't beat no maintenance for 4 yrs either.

Is that lease or purchase?

No thanks, as per company policy it has to be less than 5 years old for full allowance. Once it gets outside of that, the allowance reduces significantly.

Never really cared to know the details, but I can assume the market value of a flawless year-old Accord with 6-8K miles is worth more than their calculated residual value. They turn around and sell them for damn near new MSRP.

Payment has only fluctuated $20 through the last 8 cars.

Great car overall with features you don't find standard on cars 3x its price.

Posting car/financial advise to someone looking for a new car yet you don't know the details?

I would assume the initial deal is so bad that it isn't hard to make the next one only go up $20 per month or the second car costs significantly less. Otherwise someone is paying for the 1st year of depreciation and $20 a month isn't going to do it on any car.

I think it all depends on the lease location and deal. I can pick up a 2015 Dodge Ram loaded for under $150 a month in Michigan on a two year lease. In Texas, same vehicle is 400-500 a month on a 4 year lease. Don't ask me why it's like that because I don't have a clue. My entire family leases from Michigan.

You can get a brand new Mazda 6 (base or sport model) for 239/mo not a penny more at signing.

By details, I meant things like money factor, MSRP, selling price, etc. In 2008, got her the first Accord with $1600 down at $218/mo (including CA sales tax). Current 2015 Accord EX is $236/mo after tax. Have not spent a dime on any of them otherwise since day 1 except for gas and the occasional wash.

I am surprised that you are getting a new Honda Accord every year (this will be number 8?) and have always paid $218 - $236 a month with no extra out of pocket money besides the down payment.

For this $236 a month lease is it a 12 month lease or do you get a longer lease and then just turn it in early to get the next car?

Seems far better than everyone else's deal.
