Ben and his wife have an incredible car collection not limited to:
458 Speciale A (for his dad)
458 spyder
Aventador roadster (SV on the way)
599XX
LaFerarri (for the wife)
FXXK
2x 458 track cars
McLaren P1
might have a pagani coming, not sure if he still has his SVT Raptor

I know he also bought a Hellcat Charger and has a couple GT350's on the way. I have no idea where he gets all his money but the cars are amazing.

Yes but to drop millions on cars every year is still a lot. He seems like a real nice guy though from reading his posts.

i wonder if he gets along with his loser coworker, who's such a crappy driver that he's scared himself into the opinion that driving a car should be illegal:

Nice collection, I would have expected more Ferraris, since they got a chance to get the FXX K.

Imagine getting paid 50-100m a year...its not that bad to throw a few mill at a car.

They are not "paid 50-100m a year." Nearly all of that is equity compensation which they do not, will not, or even usually can not liquidate all at once.

Funny thing is, Ben isn't even on the executive team.

Of course they cant...but it's still considered wealth, and they still get equity compensation every year.
So if he's been there for over 5 years, he probably has equity from year 1 that he can liquidate. Seems like the same to me as getting paid 50m per year...

No, he didn't. He wasn't at Google long before they went public...might have even been around the time they filed. At that time he was living relatively modest and cycled through a few cool cars but nothing special (Vipers, Mercedes, Corvettes, Porsches, etc.). I don't even think it was until maybe 2009 that he got into a Ferrari.

No need for an article. I've known him for over 10 years as he's been very active in the local car community.

One year sounds about right, and as I said, he joined not long before their IPO. One year is not much even for Silicon Valley standards.

Thanks for your insight, 50-100m sounded way high. Either way the cars he has are awesome. Its just crazy to me to hear about all the ones he owns and the ones he is planning to order. Even better to have an awesome wife that loves to drive them all!

I assume the car stays at the track and used for a very expensive track day. Nobody drives this on pedestrian streets?

Guy is living the dream.

What happens to the XX cars after their program is over? Do customers get to take them home once Ferrari is done with the program?
