i wonder if he gets along with his loser coworker, who's such a crappy driver that he's scared himself into the opinion that driving a car should be illegal:

Imagine getting paid 50-100m a year...its not that bad to throw a few mill at a car. |

So if he's been there for over 5 years, he probably has equity from year 1 that he can liquidate. Seems like the same to me as getting paid 50m per year... |

No, he didn't. He wasn't at Google long before they went public...might have even been around the time they filed. At that time he was living relatively modest and cycled through a few cool cars but nothing special (Vipers, Mercedes, Corvettes, Porsches, etc.). I don't even think it was until maybe 2009 that he got into a Ferrari.

One year sounds about right, and as I said, he joined not long before their IPO. One year is not much even for Silicon Valley standards. |

Thanks for your insight, 50-100m sounded way high. Either way the cars he has are awesome. Its just crazy to me to hear about all the ones he owns and the ones he is planning to order. Even better to have an awesome wife that loves to drive them all!

I assume the car stays at the track and used for a very expensive track day. Nobody drives this on pedestrian streets?

Guy is living the dream.
What happens to the XX cars after their program is over? Do customers get to take them home once Ferrari is done with the program?
