I constantly get compliments when I am in the parking lots of my neighborhood supermarkets. Whenever it is an attractive woman I try to tell myself the compliment was really directed towards me but then I look into a mirror and remind myself it has to be the Z4! 🤪

Funny. Of ALL of the cars I’ve owned (SL550, 650i, XKR, CLK55, and can’t remember) this one has garnered more compliments in the few short weeks that I’ve owned it than than any other car.
Maybe it’s because I debadged it? 😬😳😉

I was out washing the Z today. Had three consecutive people walk by and compliment the car. The G29 turns heads. Glad I didn’t spend twice as much on a Boxster! 😀

I’m not much of a de-badger, but on the Z4 it looks really good badgeless. The shape is so sexy the letters distract the eyes. Enjoy!

Maybe it isn’t the letters but their color. That is why many of us have switched to the gloss black badges. 👍🏻

It would definitely make sense that the black gloss badges would be part of extended shadowline package. I have a pick (at the pump) in my garage you can check out too.

I personally got the black slimline one without any wording or logos. Car already feels a bit badge heavy in the rear to me.

I have the OEM powder-coated black stainless steel plate that simply says BMW on it. It was only $37.49 and one day delivery with Amazon Prime.

The red number plate that you see in the picture is a “trade” plate supplied by the dealer until my car is registered and my own number plate is ready.
Actually, I’ll be going to the dealer to get the official white plate on 1st March.

If we are talking license plate frames, I have an aluminum billet frame. I've found the plastic ones just degrade, and the pressed metal ones don't look great after a while (maybe cheap paint?). I got mine from hmcbillet.com

I’ve never been a bumper sticker type of person, (especially on actual painted surfaces, yikes), so I tend to use the plate frame as our primary source of ‘personalization’. In my case, it’s dreaming of retirement and leaving the US mainland, back to my where my spouse grew up & most of my in-laws still reside. 12 more years, give or take….not that I’m counting, lol.

holy crap, that’d be great actually! Too late though, it’d conflict with the new plates we ordered, hah. Since we went with San Remo, and the way the Z4 ‘squats’, decided on a theme that will remind me of how peaceful I sleep when we take our yearly trips. Best sleep ever listening to those loud little bastards. 🐸
