Here we go again - PB M40i Build Tracking

I liked the CLK when it was around, and I've always loved the SLK/SLC. I was strongly considering the SLC at one point and talked myself out of a convertible (got an Audi A5 coupe instead). I hope they revive it someday.

Please don't shoot me for saying this but for some reason I have considered an Audi as a glorified VW.

No, I get it. It was a nice car, but I like both the BMWs I had/have better. The one thing I do miss is the B&O stereo I had. It sounded way better than the HK in my Z4.

Yeah we aren't without our bad apples, but those guys typically get taken care of pretty quickly.

My m40i just changed state to "dispatched from factory" after spending exactly a week "awaiting carrier assignment".

Exciting! This is where the real fun begins. Expect at least 2 weeks at sea, probably 1-3 weeks total in transit to and from port and at the port.

With how exhausted I am during the day? YES. haha... as far as dreams, lawdy... it's like a second life sometimes.

Yeah I cannot wait. Gotta get the side badges too... really wish that they would just come with those here in the US like they do everywhere else haha. This is honestly the first time I've ever traded in a car for the same car haha. It's a weird feeling and at least it's nicer waiting for this one cause if I wanna drive a Z4 i go do just that. HAHA

You'll probably change your mind after you hear the exhaust note.

None of us are going to make this an easy wait for you.

Lots of little details, too. The instrument cluster has all different fonts, etc.

Well, first expect several weeks waiting at the port I’m afraid. I had my car sitting there for 6 weeks….😵&zwj;💫

Unfortunately the best estimated delivery date that I can get for my Z4M40i is 4-6months 😪. Of which about 1 month has passed.

But I live in Thailand and things function differently in this part of the world.
