Given your history, until you are have the key fob in your hands I would be looking both ways before crossing the street and staying away from spicy food. It’s hard to believe you are just a few short hours away from inundating us with awesome photos of your baby. Can’t wait to see them!

No worries on the spicy food, we don't like each other. I agree and will be taking it slow. I'm still in shock. I will take a few photos at pick-up. I will take more when I get it back from ceramic, tinting, and possibly PPF. Thanks for the support from all. I hope my bitching over the past couple of months made you all laugh a little. |

Even with the painters tape on the car it was stressful getting mine home, and now with the PPF I still get a little stressed in heavy highway traffic. Trucks tend to throw up a lot of junk or leave it on the road. I’m also parking a lot further out in parking lots.

My plan to keep it in the garage the rest of this week just went awry. The bike battery died. |

The paint job is darker in person than in photos or online. I really like it. It reminds me of a satin finish of mineral grey metallic. As far as worth it goes, I need to get past the break-in period to truly appreciate the power. So far, the dimensions are not too far off from the M235 I had so I can zip in and out of traffic with confidence. Funny thing, coming home from work with the top down; 7 people complimented me on the car while waiting at lights. 5 of them didn't know what it was. Still have yet to see another on the road. I got a grey unicorn. |

Congrats, LONG time coming! Beautiful ride.
Does it have a name? Our Z4 is "Duke". Our X5 is "Miss Daisy" as in the movie "Driving Ms. Daisy"....a classic in case you haven't seen it. Just a thought about tinting. Being the front windows are so small I decided it's not necessary. But I did tint the fronts on Ms. Daisy (our X5) with Madico Black Pearl. Love it. Ceramic is the only way to go. https://madico.com/automotive/window...l-nano-ceramic BTW what is the seat material? Do I see a suede insert each side of the head rests? Enjoy your new toy and good luck with the coverings. Last edited by Mixitt; 08-05-2021 at 07:47 AM.. |

Edited my post with a comment about a really great tint. Cost $172 including tax for the fronts. |
