In my opinion, Sip has anything from Alchemist beat. I’d even pick Focal Banger and Crusher over Heady.

I only drink fruity malts any more. Mikes or Angry Orchard. Regular brews give me such gas I can't stand myself

The amount of garbage "craft beer" is astonishing. I cannot think of the last time I had a good one. The market got flooded with them, and I actually pretty much stopped drinking beer altogether apart from the classic Belgian beers. Because remember: who will make better beer? The guy that worked in IT three years ago that now started a "craft brewery" or the Belgian monks that have been doing it for hundreds and hundreds of years?

And don't get me started on IPAs. They have been absolutely crippled by all this garbage hoppiness that makes them undrinkable.

You're high sir. Beer has elevated to epic proportions. Stick to your bud light.

Thing is hoppy is good. Cant fault the whiskey and bourbon though that and IPA is where it's at. Florally Belgian beer isn't a good taste.

Let me tell you the issue. Why are hops often used in excess? To cover up flaws. It’s a crutch. Like I’ve said, it’s very hard to beat the monks at this game.

You could be right but me and half the world like the hops. I love that crisp flavor, citrus, pine, drinking one as we speak elysian immortal. Not some half baked brewery covering things up.

Hold on. This is a craft beer thread. Elysian is an Anheuser-Busch InBev beer.

Don't be this daft. This is like saying Bourbon is better than Scotch because it doesn't have that awful peatiness.

I've been to Westvlet, I appreciate Trappists, but there are plenty of awesome hoppy beers too.
