2024 i7 60 or 2021 M8

I currently lease a 2021 M8 with lease expiring. After extending 2 months I am at decision day of either needing to buy it out or order a new car. Thinking the i7 only because the rates on a new 8 are insane and it's identical in every way to my 2021.

If I buy out my M8, payments would be $150 more per month for 5 years vs leasing a new i7 x60. Not sure what to do? Love the 8 but does the new tech and upcoming costs (paying for maint now, will need brakes, etc) vs moving into the 7 which is speed vs luxury. Any advice?

The answer depends on how you are going to charge the i7 if you get it. Do you have a garage? Does it have enough power to support a charger? How much would it cost you to get a charger and install it? Depending on the answers it could be over a thousand dollar to prepare to charge the i7.
