So I called BMW genius today and while they had no new information they did say the average wait time for the RAM was 2-4 weeks and to call them this Friday and they should have some information. He was fairly confident I might have mine before thanksgiving. He said worst case would be the week after thanksgiving. Some great news to cap off a great day at work.

That's great news! Is yours on a ship yet? Could be the long pole will be the time it takes to cross the Atlantic.

Mine is in the middle of the Atlantic. I hope the RAM is waiting for it in Baltimore.

Called my salesman and BMW genius today and no one can tell me anything. Doing my best to keep positive but it’s very tough when I know snow and salt will be here soon and still no clue when I will get my car. Am really close to scrapping the idea altogether and cancelling my order. I will probably give them a few more weeks and if nothing has changed I will just cancel.

It would be a shame to give up on it now after all the stress you have already been through. You can always have it delivered to you in an enclosed truck/trailer if you are concerned about the weather and driving it home.

Hang in there. There's nothing like the Z on the market and it's worth the wait. Others have been in your position this year and were glad they waited. To name a few, mcboatface , TAZ007 , me, and Horseman.

Thank you all for the support I spent the weekend watching videos of how great the car is which helped me greatly. Then about 30 minutes ago I got an email saying it has been released to the trucking company. The excitement is bursting out right now. Not sure how long before they get a truck up to Vermont but that is not irrelevant. I am just so ecstatic it will be home soon.

It really help me to know that things are still moving along (even if it is slowly). Mine is still showing that it is at the port (been there for 24 days now) and the ship I was hoping that it would be on left the port last Saturday. May be BMW is just slow at status updates, but I really don't expect that to be true in this case.

Hope you both can have some fun drives really soon.

Just a WAG but based on some conversations & timing I think they must have gotten a container full of RAM's. They seem to be coming out faster & all seemed to have the same RAM hold on them.

Mine took a few days to show on the boat and my dealer new before the site updated. Maybe reach out and see if they have a ship name yet.
