Something along the lines of "fixes and improvements" with no specific details.
Updated on Saturday and it looks the same.

Remember to re enable remote start after the update, as well as reflash any bimmercode changes.

It most likely fixed some bugs in the previous update. 😉

Why does it disable the remote start? Mine did that last update. You think they’d fix this.

Assuming your specific car has remote start, I can't see it being different than the US. Go to the climate options and find the setting for remote start preconditioning.

I noticed the upgrade Mar 4, 2024 when it showed 2% download. Decided to drive around to get it fully downloaded. After 20+ minutes driving it seems to have stalled at 83%. Pathetic download speed. Will try the d/l to iPhone and transfer that way, but come on BMW!

Took out for another drive and went from 83% to complete in about 10 minutes. Went home, parked in garage, and message ready to install came up. Said yes and it did the update in about 15 minutes.

Mine downloaded and updated today. Then I redid my BimmerCode changes. I didn't expect any noticeable changes. I got the same update on the X5 a week or so ago. It did improve the lane keeping slightly, but that's not applicable to the Z.

Updates generally get rolled out slowly over the course of two or three months. To make it available to all owners simultaneously could be a recipe for disaster.

Same problem had with X5! Upgrade downloaded but hung up on ready to install!! Last update went fine. Had to take X5 to dealer to get finished!! Wth
Any tricks? I drove around until update downloaded. Twice I have been out and backed out of garage and put in park, msg still says will let me know when ready to install 🤦🏼‍♂️

Did you put the parking brake on also when you put it in park? I thought my X5 was ready so I did something in the garage and when I went back to check it hadn’t started yet. I put the parking brake on and then it started the countdown to download and completed it with no issue.

I literally have NOT gotten any updates since November 2022. My bmw has like March 2021 update.

The last update I got was November 2022 and it never got past downloading and updating, since then no update has shown up

Update installed yesterday after driving to PT. I waited in the car while it completed, all kinds of weird noises coming from dash as it installs. Once it finished got the all ok message.

Started the car to verify all was good then turned off after a brief idle ( 10 seconds). Engine Cooling fan kept running well after the shutdown…..never heard it run like that before, in fact I’ve never heard it run ever after a drive. It finally turned off after a couple minutes.

Have not driven the car since but will keep an eye on if the fan now runs longer or if this was a one off situation.

Hmmm must be you don’t drive in a spirited manner as i have heard mine run on ocassion arriving home from work. But maybe that’s due to a quick 130-140 sprint a few miles earlier….🤣🤣🤣

Still running an the old one in Z4. Car searched for a long time today & could not find it. Weather is poor, might have something to do with the failure to connect.

M4C said nothing available, still has the one it came home with.
