If his response was anything like mine it had nothing to do with owning a BMW... it's just that wheels like that are not everybody's first choice... or 1,000,000th choice either for that matter

it's funny to me that some people in here thinks the car is ugly and they're driving a 135i , come man let's face it your 135i is worst looking then the 370z but to each their own .
btw the wheels are there for a purpose (track) everyone have different taste in wheels .
some pick wheels for show , some pick wheels that are for go , different strokes for different folks .

clean car op good job .

But I do agree about the wheels are used for differnt things part... Cus I wouldnt want to tear up my 5 ta 10k rims up in a track...

I almost bought a 370Z before the 335. I love the 370 but those wheels look like ass.

I think the 370Z is a great looking sports car shape, longish front not too long, and a nice short rear. Reminds me of the 240Z.
The 1 has a similar concept, but comes across a bit odd. Good enough for me though. I've like all the Z's except for the 2+2 models, especially the 260Z, which I didn't feel looked right.

The wheel choice is of course personal taste, but since they are light weight, I see the function over all out style there. Good choice on lowering unsprung weight.

The right height is nice. When the wheel arches go down over the tire it's not a good street look. Good for race cars, but I don't like it on street cars that need to go over daily roads.

Beautiful. Gram Lights are the shit! JDM yo!

On a serious note... There seems to be a ridiculous amount of ride height comments on this forum. In real life, fender gap is not that bad compared to photos. This one's just perfect. Fenders eclipsing tires = fail. Gotta maintain that parallel arch between fender and wheel to have proper classic beauty.
