Getting My Music in the Z4
HI--If this has come up on a previous thread, please forgive me. My Z4 is the first car I have had that doesn't have a physical player (cassette, CD, etc.).
I want to load some CDs onto a USB drive. I use a Mac. I would also prefer to have FLAC files. Any suggestions for software to handle this job? Much appreciated! |

If you're on Catalina, it's the Music app.
Not sure whether the car will play FLAC but if you want lossless, you could use wav. It will take more space but the quality will at least be better than mp3. |

Google "How to rip CDs onto USB in FLAC format on a Mac":

indeed it plays flac
I have flac files and they play perfect. I use "freerip mp3" a free download and you can rip to flac. Windows .

it even plays 24/96 flac. Though in a car stereo i dont think its worth it. Stay with mp3
