I've been able to drop my top for 24+ years but nearly never do so I don't know. LOL Black on black wasn't my best climate choice but that's been OK so far.

TY! I really want an Alpine White coupe but 8er too big & too soon for next gen 2er so Z4 became a personality pick with Black Sapphire necessary for a roof match. Very FUN so far! What do you especially like/not like about yours?
I drive open 100% of the time. Rainy and winter days I take my M235.

The B58 is a great engine and the Z4 M40i is lots of fun to drive. I am glad I did take the I6. It would have been a letdown from the N55 otherwise.

Car has been problem free so far (other than the wireless charger frying my iPhone).

Drove your 2er when it first arrived in '14. Also very fun car! M brakes, diff, etc. were important to me. Between closeness in price after adding that stuff to the 4 and coming from a V8, I6 was an easy call for me. Very happy with all my build choices. Expect to eventually decide between G42 & G87.

I will definitely consider replacing the M235 Coupe with the next generation...

It really is such a fun everyday vehicle if you only need two seats most days of the week.

So true. I love driving this and so happy I got the "practicality" feeling out of my buying criteria...lol.

60. But I'm giving serious thought to switching to the metric age system.

Been toying with BMW convertibles since 95. E36 318, E46 335, E93 M3 (x2) and now the Z4.

My birth certificate states I'm 68, but I think that’s „fake news”

68! I was so glad to see this thread! I have had 3 Z4's including the 2016 I own now. I was going to order the 2021, but started thinking maybe it was time to get a "granny" car. It was a very depressing thought! But after seeing how many of owners are my age and older I have made up my mind to place my order right away! Can't wait!
