All X1 as of Oct/Nov no longer have door locking pins.

Thanks! It’s actually patterned. Shows up in a few places in the interior as well.

X1s seen at 2 different dealerships last week. I am wondering what car to get after my M135i F40 and the X1 / X2 still an alternative. I had a X1 18d xDrive E84 between 2012 and 2019 and I liked it. I have a vast range of car in mind (to the future M135i to a M3 Touring). I have 8 months to decide.

I noted that 2 or the phones are showing chrome like pillers near windows. What vehicle were they? I’ve only seen glossy black on new Generation of X1’s

That’s the transit protection film that they peel off when prepping the car.

Well i have the 18d sdrive U11 and I can tell you the engine is absolutely fantastic in this car. My review is here https://u11.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...p?t=2028814and I wouldn’t change a thing. Id9 has worked as should for me since July, after some initial mild teething issues.

Its a pity that San Remo Green (your 1st pic) is not offered on M Sport, as well as Utah Orange. We have settled for Cape YorK Green. A bit more subtle color, but with different shades depending on the weather/lighting.
Btw, maybe the X2 has chosen you already. Its looking at you 😃

The color is just wow and pictures cannot really show. Oftentimes it looks blueish or dull, but we loved it and happy to have chosen it!
Now more patience for production & delivery dates…

It changes in all types of light. Cloudy days it’s a cool gray. Sunny days brings out the color and sunset it’s kinda like an army green. Very cool.
