2018 Z4 G29 ...3 years any sign of LCI?
As per title just curious, thought these might have appeared by now with Cammo etc?
Or is there no LCI?

It will be interesting to see if BMW modifies the car as time marches on. The car has already been given a death date a few years hence. Maybe a full M-version for the 2024 final year?

Gather from what we already know about 2-seat roadsters, I too wondering if BMW is going to bother doing LCI for G29 at all.
Mercedes SLC is dead. Audi already announced that they have stopped new development on new petrol engines. Let's keep fingers crossed

The car has only been out for about 2 years. Isn't that too early for a LCI?

1) the car design is/was leading edge on it's release 2 years ago.
2) with competition in the luxury/premium 2 seat roadster market falling like flies, it isn't like they need to refresh to compete. Personally, I don't think there are the sales numbers or the competition to justify a refresh this early on......if ever. 2 cents, Dave |

Seeing the other models(competitors) are still base on older design, I guess LCI is still a few years down.

One other datapoint here is that the facelift on the previous generation (E89) comprised new headlights and a new piece of chrome on the side markers. That was it.
If the G29 does get an LCI, it will be something like this or probably even more mild. |

LCI SOP in 11/22 - if you trust the information posted in the general news forum.
Probably minor changes to lights and paint colors, possibly wheels. This is the last ICE BMW Roadster... Get one while you can!

Many thanks, I thought it had perhaps seen it referenced somewhere. Still a way off too, seem my thoughts of 2018 release for the G29 were premature, it was revealed but saw was from 2019.

Not a chance the G29 is going away
BMW committed to a full 7 years of serial production for the G29 Z4 and its selling very well in Europe. They have a contract with Magna Styer to build it over its life. Will they kill it after that is over? Who knows but I bet we see an LCI for MY22 with minor changes.
